Good value, Picture quality is fine, don't be scared off by the resolution.
For the size of the TV and resolution, you might be tempted to poo poo it for not being 1080p. However, at a normal tv viewing distance, you are *not* seeing pixels. And as a "Bedroom TV", it does wonderfully. Can't beat the value. Speakers aren't the best but are "ok" enough again for use as a Bedroom TV or Dorm TV. I'd definitely want a soundbar if I was using it for any significant length of time.
